Caitlyn Martyn

Caitlyn Martyn is a commerce editor at Fox News specializing in lifestyle topics like beauty, style, home, weather and travel. Martyn has held roles writing and editing for major online publications and brands such as Byrdie, InStyle, and L’Oréal, and has been testing and recommending products since 2021. She has experience with everything from the latest and greatest in hair and skincare tech to luggage, rain coats, mattresses, and Dutch ovens. She also contributes to the FOX Weather vertical.

Before Fox, Martyn held editorial roles at Dotdash Meredith, where she contributed to commerce content that informed and inspired readers with first-person product testing and reviews. Earlier in her career, she helped branded editorial efforts for L’Oréal’s suite of brands. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Lehigh University. 

Born and raised in Westchester, New York, Martyn likes to spend her time outside going for walks on local trails, or inside trying new recipes (many of which include the sourdough starter she has so much of), reading novels and watching the New York Yankees.
