Flood threat targets the Northwest this weekend after rare Severe Thunderstorm Watch

Parts of Idaho and Montana are at risk of severe thunderstorms that could produce large hail and even a weak tornado. This expected to evolve into a multiday flash flood threat for the region through the weekend, including Yellowstone National Park. This system produced the first Severe Thunderstorm Watch in 600 days for parts of Eastern Washington and Eastern Oregon Thursday.
