Warm weather forecast in Houston for ALCS Game 6

Watch Houston Astros face Boston Red Sox on FS1

HOUSTON – Warm, but calm weather is expected in Houston for a critical Game 6 of the American League Championship Series.

The Houston Astros lead the best-of-seven series 3-2 over the Boston Red Sox. The Astros are hoping to clinch the AL pennant with a win, while the Red Sox aim to tie the series and force one more game.

First pitch at Minute Maid Park, which has a retractable roof, is at 7:08 p.m. Central. It’s rare that the roof is open, especially during a championship game, so weather won’t really be a factor in gameplay.

Fans heading to the ballpark will see partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the 80s. There could be some patchy fog by the time the game ends, with temperatures in the mid-70s.

Winds will be out of the southeast at 5 to 10 mph.

Coverage of ALCS Game 6 begins at 6 p.m. on FS1 and at foxsports.com/live.
