Scattered showers possible in Houston for Game 1 of World Series

HOUSTON – The Houston Astros and the Atlanta Braves will meet in Houston on Tuesday night for the first game of the World Series.
First pitch is scheduled for 7:09 p.m. Central at Minute Maid Park, where the roof is rarely open during games, especially during the playoffs.
Scattered showers are possible, so fans headed to the game might need an umbrella between their car and the stadium. The same will be true at the end of the game.
Temperatures will start in the mid- to upper 70s and settle into the mid-70s by the game’s end.
Winds will be breezy at times and steadily out of the south at 5 to 15 mph.
