Tropical downpours threaten to flood Gulf Coast over Labor Day weekend
Those along the western Gulf Coast will need to keep their umbrellas handy for the foreseeable future as deep tropical moisture and a series of disturbances keep rain in the forecast right into next week. An upper-level low will cause the initial rounds of storms through Friday. This weekend and into next week a cold front will drop down and stall across the region, focusing more rounds of showers and thunderstorms.
