Severe storms set to target the South this week

On the severe front, two days of severe storms are expected across parts of the I-35 corridor in Texas. Tuesday, storms will try to fire along a warm front and south in the open warm sector. These storms initially could be in the form of supercells, which could pose a risk for damaging winds and hail. Depending on the evolution of storms, a tornado threat may develop during the afternoon and evening.
