Northeast, New England facing life-threatening wind chills this weekend

Extreme Cold Warnings have been issued for over 43 million Americans including NYC, Philadelphia, and the entire state of Connecticut. The Northeast has yet to experience this level of cold air so far this season. Wind forecasts have also increased thus High Wind Alerts have been issued along with these Cold Weather Alerts. Overnight lows into Sunday morning will likely drop into the single digits from Philadelphia to Boston, with subzero temperatures expected across interior New England and Upstate New York. When factoring in the wind, wind chill values will easily fall to -10 to -30 degrees below zero.
