Multiday flood threat shifts into New England as storms soak Northeast
Rounds of heavy rain are ongoing across parts of the Northeast as the bull's-eye of a multiday flood threat begins to shift into New England. Flash Flood Warnings have been issued through Wednesday for parts of New York's Lower Hudson Valley, including Westchester, Putnam and Dutchess counties, as well as the Capital Region, including Albany. NOAA's Weather Prediction Center (WPC) has issued a Level 3 out of 4 risk of flash flooding for western and southern Massachusetts, southern Vermont, southern New Hampshire and parts of nonwestern Connecticut.
