Hawaii could be in path of tropical threat as El Niño boosts Eastern Pacific activity
The National Hurricane Center (NHC) is monitoring two areas to watch for tropical development in the Eastern Pacific which long-range forecasts indicate could move toward Hawaii over the next 10 days. According to the FOX Forecast Center, several forecast models, including Google's DeepMind model and the European model, suggest Hawaii could be in the path of potential tropical activity roughly between August 14-17. However, since no tropical cyclone has formed, there is still considerable forecast uncertainty, as models do not have an actual storm to track.
