Hurricane Polo heads toward Mexico, bringing torrential rain to the Southwest

Hurricane Polo is barreling toward Mexico, where it is expected to bring torrential rain, mudslides and landslides. Moisture from the powerful hurricane will also surge into the Southwestern U.S. next week, bringing a renewed threat of flash flooding across parts of the region. A Level 1 of 4 threat for flash flooding is in place.
