Tropical downpours target Florida with low chance of development this weekend
The National Hurricane Center (NHC) is monitoring two areas in the Atlantic for potential tropical development: one near the Cabo Verde Islands and another near Florida and along the Gulf and Southeast U.S. coasts. While tropical development is unlikely, the disturbance off the Southeast coast could still bring tropical downpours and disrupt weekend plans.
