Potential coastal storm targets Northeast, New England this weekend

Another round of heavy rain is on its way to the interior Northeast and New England beginning Friday, with 1 to 2 inches possible through Friday night. Localized pockets of 2 to 3 inches will be possible, particularly across New Hampshire and Maine. However, a coastal storm is expected to develop of the coast of North Carolina into the weekend and could bring more soaking rain to the northeastern Interstate 95 corridor.
