Rain and storms to haunt Halloween trick-or-treaters across more than 20 states
Trick-or-treaters in more than 20 states across the U.S. are expected to have rain showers haunt their Halloween festivities this weekend, including a rare soaker for All Hallows Eve in Los Angeles and other parts of Southern California and the storm-weary Southwest. Multiple regions are expecting to see rain as multiple storm systems push into the West, Midwest and Southeast, leaving only the Mid-Atlantic, Northeast and parts of the Northern Plains and Upper Midwest with a clear and dry trick-or-treating forecast.
As Halloween approaches, millions of Americans will head outside to enjoy the holiday festivities, but wet weather could dampen plans this weekend.
On Halloween, an incoming storm will bring widespread rain across California and higher elevations of the Intermountain West.
While wet weather is unlikely, some parts of the Southwest could see precipitation.
