Upper Great Lakes to see first accumulating lake-effect snow
The Upper Peninsula of Michigan could see upwards of eight inches of snow into Tuesday morning.
Portions of the Upper Great Lakes region will see its first accumulating lake-effect snow event Monday night into Tuesday.
As temperatures begin to drop, showers will switch to snow Monday evening.
The heaviest snow is expected for Michigan's Upper and Lower Peninsulas, along with higher terrain downwind of the eastern portions of Lakes Erie and Ontario.

Winter Weather Advisories are in effect through Tuesday afternoon.
Additional minor accumulation is possible throughout Tuesday night and into Wednesday.
