Strong winds and dry conditions are in the forecast for the region.
Forecasted southwest winds ranging from 15 to 25 mph will be in place. Winds could gust up to 40 mph at times.
Officials warn residents to avoid activities that could start a fire, as conditions are favorable for any fires to spread quickly.
