Winter storm brings dangerous cold to Mississippi
Mississippi's governor declared a state of emergency due to winter weather as an arctic blast brought dangerously cold temperatures, ice and snow to parts of the state. As a result, more than 70 school districts are closed Tuesday in hopes of keeping students and families out of the frigid air. Shelter, home and road safety are on the top of everyone's minds.
