Tropical Storm Franklin eyes Bermuda as strong Category 2 hurricane formation likely
Tropical Storm Franklin is expected to slowly strengthen over the next 2 days and become a hurricane on Saturday, according to the NHC advisory. By Sunday, the storm is forecast to become a strong Category 2 hurricane with 110 mph winds, just shy of a major hurricane. Tropical storm-force winds extend out 115 miles.
