Several days of severe storms ahead for Southern Plains

A few strong thunderstorms will likely develop Wednesday afternoon and evening across the southern High Plains with damaging wind gusts and large hail possible. As the overall pattern begins to break down Thursday, a trough swinging out of the Rockies into the Southern Plains will bring an increased potential for more typical spring-like severe weather across portions of Oklahoma and Texas.
