Severe storms likely in South on Thursday, Friday

The primary severe weather threat will be storms along an advanced cold front. Severe thunderstorms are expected across north-central Texas into southern Oklahoma beginning Thursday. Large hail and damaging winds are the main hazards. Storms will reach the lower Mississippi Valley into the Tennessee and lower Ohio valleys by Friday.
