Severe threat looms as damaging winds, hail, tornaodes possible across Plains

The same system that is moving through the West will reach the Plains by Thursday. During the day, strong southerly flow will transport rich gulf moisture north into The Texas Panhandle, Northwest Oklahoma, and Southwest Kansas ahead of a dryline/cold front that will push through the region Thursday afternoon and evening.
