Tornado Watch expands in parts of the Mid-Atlantic

The National Weather Service Storm Prediction Center has issued a Tornado Watch for portions of Washington, D.C., central and northern parts of Maryland, North Carolina and Virginia, areas of extreme northeastern West Virginia and coastal waters. These will be in effect until 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. ET.
