Storm system could bring severe storm, snow threats to Central US next week

Severe thunderstorms may develop, particularly across the Central and Southern Plains to the Mississippi Valley by next Thursday. North of the severe weather, temperatures will be cold enough for some wintry weather from Kansas to the Great Lakes.
