Storm system to drench Gulf Coast, triggering rough surf and coastal flood threat
A storm system in the Gulf will bring heavy rain and a coastal flood threat to Louisiana and southern Mississippi beginning Friday and last through the weekend. While this storm will not become tropical it could produce localized pockets of 1 to 3 inches of rain and create rough surf and dangerous rip currents.
