Potential for powerful weekend Nor'easter along East Coast

Confidence continues to increase for a powerful Nor'easter to develop along the East Coast later this week with the potential for multiple days of heavy rain, strong winds, and more coastal impacts for areas already hit hard by rough surf from Hurricanes Humberto and Imelda. Anywhere from the Carolinas northward to southern New England is at risk of being impacted by the potentially strong coastal storm. A level 2 out of 4 flash flood risk has already been issued for Saturday for coastal North Carolina.
