See it: Massive Buxton Beach Nourishment Project underway to fight coastal erosion

The Buxton Beach Nourishment Project is officially underway. Video shows crews pumping sand along the shoreline in an effort to combat the severe coastal erosion in the Outer Banks. The project is expected to be completed by the end of September.
