The Midwest faces a day of severe storms, with a level 2 out of 5 threat in effect across Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Ohio on Wednesday. The main threats are damaging wind and hail, but a low-end tornado risk is also in place. Starting Thursday, the storms shift into the Northeast.
