Southern Plains, Texas Hill Country brace for heavy rain, flash flooding
Thunderstorms are forecast to develop over the southern and central Plains Wednesday afternoon that could bring strong wind gusts and large hail, in addition to the heavy rain. A flash flood threat covers parts of Texas Hill country, extending northeast into Dallas and into southern Oklahoma. The flood threat expands on Thursday to Nebraska, Missouri and Arkansas.
