Severe storms trigger Tornado Warnings across Northern Plains as system charges into Upper Midwest
Another round of severe weather across the Northern Plains triggered a Tornado Warning in South Dakota early Monday with severe storms expected to shift eastward in the afternoon. NOAA's Storm Prediction Center has issued a Level 2 out of 5 risk of severe thunderstorms for parts of eastern North Dakota, northern South Dakota, much of Minnesota, northwestern Wisconsin and the Siouxland region into Monday night. Damaging wind gusts of up to 80 mph, large hail and tornadoes are all possible hazards Monday.
