Tropical Storm Genevieve has formed in the Eastern Pacific, but don't get used to the title for long. The storm is expected to rapidly intensify into the first major hurricane of the 2026 Eastern Pacific hurricane season. Just ahead of Genevieve, Hurricane Fausto is maintaining category 2 strength.
