FOX Weather Kickoff: Week 6 NFL on FOX picks based on weather forecasts

From the undefeated Arizona Cardinals facing the Cleveland Browns to MVP Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers visiting their NFC North rival, the Chicago Bears, it's sure to be an exciting Sunday for NFL football.

Another great weekend of NFL football is on tap for Week 6 on FOX.

On Fridays throughout the season, we pick FOX NFL games based on how teams have historically performed in certain weather conditions using data from SportsWeather.

GAME 1: Green Bay Packers (4-1) at Chicago Bears (3-2) - 1 p.m. Eastern on FOX

For this NFC North rivalry game, weather at Lambeau Field will be good for some mid-October football. It's forecast to be 62 degrees around game-time with winds at 9 mph. In those weather conditions, the Packers are 44-31 in games where the temperature was 62 degrees and 83-44-1 in games where the winds were blowing at 9 mph, while the Bears stand at 34-37 and 47-53, respectively. Currently, there's a 0% chance of precipitation, where Green Bay stands at 105-57-2 and the Bears are ten games under .500 at 73-83 in games where there's a 0% chance of precipitation.

GAME 2: Los Angeles Rams (4-1) at New York Giants (1-4) - 1 p.m. Eastern on FOX

This is a matchup of two teams on the opposite ends of the spectrum when it comes to wins and losses so far this season. In East Rutherford, New Jersey at game-time, it's forecast to be 62 degrees. At that temperature, neither team is all that impressive, with the Rams being 36-39-1 and the Giants 38-47. Winds are expected to be blowing at 9 mph, where the Rams are 41-48, while the Giants are 55-75 in those conditions. There's a slight chance of precipitation at 20%. When there is a 20% chance of precipitation, the Rams are 5-3 and the Giants stand at 7-8.

GAME 3: Minnesota Vikings (2-3) at Carolina Panthers (3-2) - 1 p.m. Eastern on FOX 

It'll be a great day for football in Charlotte, NC Sunday afternoon. It's forecast to be 65 degrees around the start of the game. At that temperature, Minnesota poses a 19-28 record, while Carolina is 49-48-1. Winds are forecast to be at 8 mph, where historically, the Vikings are 33-43-1 and the Panthers are 74-64-1 in those conditions. There's a 0% chance of precipitation as well. With precipitation not being a factor, it bolds well for the Panthers, who are 87-81-1, whereas the Vikings are 42-56-2.

PICK: Neither team has a weather edge in this game, but SportsWeather.com predicts a Carolina win.

GAME 4: Arizona Cardinals (5-0) at Cleveland Browns (3-2) - 4:05 p.m. Eastern on FOX

It'll be quite chilly in Cleveland Sunday evening for this game as the Cardinals try to remain undefeated. It's forecast to be 60 degrees (Records: Arizona 23-34, Cleveland 27-68-1) with winds at 17 mph (Records: Arizona 9-12-1, Cleveland 23-54-1), and a 20% chance of precipitation (Records: Arizona 38-58-1, Cleveland 54-115)

PICK: Neither team has the weather edge, but SportsWeather.com predicts Arizona will remain undefeated.
