The latest advisory from the National Hurricane Center has Helene as a "extremely dangerous" Category 4 hurricane with maximum sustained winds of 130 mph. Damaging winds and dangerous storm surge are expected to begin in Florida's Big Bend tonight. Sept. 26, 2024.
