Hurricane Helene enters Gulf of Mexico with Florida facing dangerous storm surge

Helene is forecast to make landfall on Florida's Gulf Coast on Thursday. The system just entered the southern Gulf of Mexico where it's expected to strengthen over the next 24 hours.
