Carolina Beach, NC sees combination of saltwater, freshwater flooding

Potential Tropical Storm Eight is causing a combination of saltwater and freshwater flooding in the Carolinas. Roads in Carolina Beach have been closed due to high tides and thunderstorms associated with the storm have led to Flash Flood Warnings. The National Weather Service is predicting another 2-3 inches of rain on Monday.
