Millions of people in the Midwest are bracing for a period of wet, stormy days during the upcoming workweek that’s being attributed to a heat dome impacting the eastern U.S. Complexes of thunderstorms are expected to move along the edge of the ridge of high pressure, known as a “ring of fire.”
