Crystal Bay, NV homeowner digs out of post-blizzard

Last weekend, a multi-day blizzard blanketed neighborhoods in the Sierra Nevada with feet of snow, bringing the region above its average snow for this time of year. While this part of the country is known for intense snow, residents are currently struggling to dig out. Crystal Bay resident Dede Bedford has been stuck inside her home throughout the duration of the blizzard, as it dumped 8 feet of snow on her property.
