Dozens of daily record highs threatened from Midwest to Northeast on Monday
Record warmth continues across portions of the Upper Midwest, Great Lakes and Northeast as the new workweek begins. On Sunday, Minneapolis recorded its earliest first 70-plus-degree day on record, topping the previous record by two days (March 5, 2000). Monday will be another record-breaking day for dozens of cities as highs in the 70s return for millions from Chicago to Buffalo, New York.
