Northeast stays windy as next snowmaker slowly strengthens

The first of the two snowmakers we've been tracking this week is quickly moving out into the Canadian Maritimes after producing snow across the Northeast overnight Thursday. In its wake, strong winds will continue across the region with gusts potentially as high as 50 mph.
