Washington's ideal weather set to produce millions more apples than average this year
Fall brings an abundance of fresh apples waiting to be picked, and it is one of the best parts of the season. The Washington Tree Fruit Association, which usually yields 120 million apples from August through November, is expected to harvest 134 million this year. According to Jon Devaney, president of the Washington State Tree Fruit Association, this is due to the ideal weather conditions. He joins FOX Weather to discuss it further.
