Rockies to see first major snowstorm of the season next week

A series of storm systems will impact the region starting late Saturday and into Sunday. The first system will bring rain and some high-elevation snow to the Northwest and Northern Rockies through Monday. By midweek, a more potent storm is forecast to dive south out of Alberta.
