Philippe moves more slowly, Invest 91L to become hurricane soon

Tropical Storm Philippe is currently located about 600 miles east of the northern Leeward Islands and is moving west-northwest near 5 mph, according to the latest advisory from the National Hurricane Center. Plus, Invest 91L is expected to strengthen into a hurricane within the next day or so. Sept. 27, 2023.
