Hurricane Dora continues to trek well south of Hawaii as raging wildfires burn in Maui

Hurricane Dora continues to trek westward in the open Pacific Ocean well south of Hawaii. No hazards are expected to land at this time as Dora moves toward the Central Pacific and remains a healthy hurricane. The FOX Forecast Center said the relationship between Dora and a ridge of high pressure is driving an increase of winds across the islands, fueling wildfires.
