Central Atlantic disturbance has low chance of development

A non-tropical area of low pressure is expected to form in a couple of days a few hundred miles east-northeast of Bermuda over the central Atlantic Ocean. This system could gradually acquire subtropical characteristics during the second half of this week as it drifts toward the southeast. By next weekend, however, the low is expected to turn northward, bringing the system over cooler waters and ending its chances of subtropical development.
