Spring runoff helps non-profit clear 1,000 pounds of litter going into Lake Tahoe from creeks, rivers

Due to the spring runoff, Clean Up the Lake has found about 1,000 pounds of litter that was cleared from creeks and rivers that feed into Lake Tahoe. Researchers also say that same runoff is the reason why Lake Tahoe’s clarity is the best it’s been in 40 years.
