Coastal low eyeing East Coast with heavy rain, gusty winds and rough surf

An area of disturbed weather is expected to develop into a coastal low late this week off the Southeast. This low will remain weak, but gusty winds are possible along the East Coast. In addition, depending on how much the low develops, heavy rain and rough surf will be likely, along with dangerous rip currents.
