Exceptionally wet set of days to bring showers, thunderstorms across 40 states this week

An exceptionally wet set of days is expected across the central states as three separate upper-level disturbances could bring rain across 40 states. Inches of rain will fall from the northern Rockies right down through the Rio Grande Valley. The worst drought in the country is currently in the Plains and some areas are in desperate need of precipitation.
