'It always rains at coronations': Showers in store for King Charles' coronation
Royal Commentator Sandro Monetti said wet weather is a common theme during coronations. Rain occurred in 1937 for the coronation of King George VI, in 1953 for the coronation of Elizabeth II, and will likely soak many attending the coronation of Charles III and his wife Camilla. Monetti added that nothing would dampen the spirits of Britain during Saturday's ceremony.
