Heavy rain to soak South in April's final week
Another potent storm system has its sights on the central and eventually southeastern U.S. this week. While details are still coming into focus, widespread heavy rain appears likely across much of the central and southern Plains and nearly all of the Southeast. As much as 3 inches of rain is expected over the span of three to four days, with locally higher amounts. While the severe weather threat has backed off, the FOX Forecast Center can't rule out the threat of some strong storms from Tuesday evening into Wednesday morning.
