Wisconsin raptor rehabilitators report 'loon fallout' in northern Wisconsin

Migrating birds unable to walk are falling out of the sky in northern Wisconsin and left helpless in roads and cow pastures to die, rescuers warn. The Raptor Education Group, Inc. in Antigo said they have received many calls on the stranded loons for two days a perfect weather set-up allowed the phenomena to occur.
