Severe weather threat slides eastward from Gulf Coast to Carolinas to end workweek
As a cold front progresses to the east and south, it will be the focus for a few severe storms across the Ohio Valley, Lower Mississippi River Valley, and far South Texas Friday. On Saturday we'll be watching coastal Georgia, the Carolinas, and Mid-Atlantic as a risk of hail and 60+ mph wind gusts will be possible during the afternoon hours. In addition, a couple strong storms are possible North Florida.
