Spring starts off with a cold snap, putting some early blooms at risk
Monday is the first day of astronomical spring, but you wouldn't think that if you stepped outside. The spring season is off to a cooler start with some areas across the Southeast seeing close to a 10 to 20 degree drop from normal temperatures for this time of year. Amanda Bennett, Vice President of Horticulture and Collections at the Atlanta Botanical Garden, talks about how to protect plants during these cold snaps.
